The oldest-surviving Christian hymns designed exclusively for Holy Week are a set known as the Idiomele. In the modern Orthodox Church, they are sung during the Royal Hours service of Good Friday morning (the final hymn is sung during two additional services). Apart from their antiquity, the most noteworthy feature of these hymns is that they were the first to blame “the Jews” for the death of Christ.

Józefa Tischnera w kategorii „Pisarstwo religijne lub filozoficzne” za całokształt twórczości.

Po zakończeniu wojny Żydzi zaczęli wracać do miasta, w którym zastała ich nowa rzeczywistość. Po dawnym życiu żydowskim nie było praktycznie żadnych śladów. Synagogi zostały zrujnowane, cmentarze doszczętnie zdewastowane, a domy i warsztaty pracy zajęte przez Polaków. Sami powracający byli również w tragicznym stanie. Osamotnieni, schorowani, niemający się gdzie podziać i za co się utrzymać, musieli zacząć wszystko od nowa.

10 marca odbyło się pierwsze seminarium zorganizowane w Żydowskim Instytucie Historycznym w trybie stacjonarnym po dwuletniej przerwie spowodowanej epidemią, kiedy posiedzenia odbywały się w trybie on-line. Było to zarazem spotkanie jubileuszowe, bowiem seminarium skończyło właśnie 10 lat.
