Trzeba więc w tej chwili nowej wizji – i nowego humanizmu, i odnowionego rozumienia chrześcijaństwa. Wybierając imię Leona XIV, nowy biskup Rzymu – pierwszy, który urodził się już po II wojnie światowej, a w momencie rozpoczęcia II Soboru Watykańskiego miał zaledwie 7 lat – zdaje się wskazywać właśnie na potrzebę takiej nowej wizji.

Wczoraj podczas uroczystej gali odbywającej się w siedzibie tygodnika „Polityka” przyznano Nagrody Historyczne im. Mariana Turskiego za rok 2024. Wśród nagrodzonych znalazła się wydana przez Wydawnictwo Więź książka „Ocalałam” – wywiad rzeka z Krystyną Budnicką, jedną z ostatnich ocalałych z getta warszawskiego, przeprowadzony przez ks. Grzegorza Michalczyka i Rafała Kotomskiego.
