The Tikvah Center is an educational center in midtown Manhattan that offers opportunities to study Jewish thought and history, war and statesmanship, economics and public policy, and social thought with renowned thinkers and public figures. The Tikvah Center welcomes individuals of varying ages and background who wish to engage in intensive study of and passionate debate about the most pressing issues facing the Jewish people, and the Jewish State. The Tikvah Center offers educational programs for high school, gap-year, and college students; the yeshiva community; and professionals; as well as the occasional public lecture and event.

...To święto jest i symboliczną i dosłowną manifestacją tego jak ważna jest dla Żydów Tora i że jej czytanie jest procesem nieskończonym – nigdy tak naprawdę nie rozstajemy się z naszą Księga, nigdy nie zamykamy jej definitywnie.

Jest to okres poświęcony pełnej powagi introspekcji, czas, kiedy rozważa się grzechy z całego poprzedniego roku i odbywa za nie pokutę przed nadejściem Jom Kipur.

Według kalendarza gregoriańskiego w 2023 roku Rosz ha-Szana trwa od wieczora 15 września do wieczora 17 września.
To nie tylko nowy rok liturgiczny i zmiana daty, ale przede wszystkim nowy, lepszy etap życia, w który należy wkroczyć z czystym sumieniem, z duszą uwolnioną od grzechów popełnionych wobec Boga i ludzi.

For us who are committed to dialogue between Christians and Jews, these are particularly difficult times. Jewish communities and their leaders are torn between their traditional perception of Israel, the narratives they hold true about the ethics and the moral standing of their religion, and the disturbing reality that now confronts us. For many it is difficult to relinquish these traditional perspectives and support the fight for democracy alongside the myriads of Israelis who stand up to their government.
