Prof. Karma Lekshe Tsomo

Karma Lekshe Tsomo is a Professor of Theology and Religious Studies at the University of San Diego. She is president of Sakyadhita: International Association of Buddhist Women and director of Jamyang Foundation.

Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg is Rabbi of the New North London Synagogue and head of the Masorti movement in England.

Dr. Katherine Marshall

Katherine Marshall is a senior fellow at Georgetown University’s Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs and professor of the practice of development, conflict, and religion in the Walsh School of Foreign Service. She leads the World Faiths Development Dialogue (WFDD).

Archbishop Sahak Mashalian II

Archbishop Mashalian is the recently elected Archbishop of the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople/Turkey. He was the Director of the Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations in the Armenian Patriarchate of Istanbul and a lecturer in Armenian College Sahakian.

Imam Yahya Pallavicini

Imam Pallavicini is president of COREIS, the Islamic Religious Community of Italy. Yahya has been a member a member of the Italian Minister of the Interior's Council on Islam in Italy since 2005. Moreover, he is member of the ECRL European Council of Religious Leaders and ISESCO Ambassador for Dialogue among Civilizations. Since 2018 he has been coordinating the MJLC Muslim Jewish Leaders Council.

Prof. Myriam Renaud

Myriam Renaud, PhD (’18 University of Chicago) is Principal Investigator and Director of the Parliament of the World’s Religions’ Global Ethic Project. She led the 2018 effort to expand the Parliament’s signature document, “A Declaration Towards a Global Ethic,” with language elaborating a commitment to a culture of sustainability and care for the Earth. She is also a constructive philosophical theologian, co-editor of two collections of scholarly essays, and the author of numerous academic and journalistic articles.

Prof. Neelima Shukla-Bhatt

Prof. Shukla-Bhatt is an Associate Professor and Director of South Asia Studies (with a focus on religions and cultures) at Wellesley College. She received her Ph.D. in the Study of Religion from Harvard University in 2003.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf is an American Imam of note. He is Sufi by orientation, a thinker and author, a peace activist and a long term practitioner of interfaith dialogue. He is also the founder and president of Cordoba House, which aims to establish a compassionate, forward-thinking, and pluralistic American Muslim identity.

Swamini Adityananda Saraswati

Swamini Adityananda Saraswati has served as a URI Global Trustee since 2014, and was appointed Interim Executive Director for URI in 2021. With 30 years of nonprofit and communications experience, she brings a strong background in interfaith leadership.

Rabbi Art Green

Rabbi Arthur Green, Ph.D., is recognized as one of the world's preeminent authorities on Jewish thought and spirituality. In addition to his Hebrew College Rabbinical School role as Rector, he serves as Irving Brudnick Professor of Philosophy and Religion at Hebrew College and is Professor Emeritus at Brandeis University.

Bhai Sahib Bhai Mohinder Singh

Bhai Sahib Bhai Mohinder Singh is the Spiritual Leader and Chairman of Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha, UK – a charitable organisation. He is also a member of the Elijah Board of World Religious Leaders. Having executed several conservation and restoration projects of sacred Sikh shrines in India, he is the first British Sikh to be bestowed upon the title of ‘Bhai Sahib’ in June 2010 by the Jathedars of the five Takhats (seats of Sikh temporal/religious authority – Miri-Piri) of the Sikh Dharam, as well as the President of the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee.

Prof. Jose Casanova

José Casanova is one of the world's top scholars in the sociology of religion and a senior fellow at the Berkley Center, where his work focuses on globalization, religions, and secularization. He is also professor emeritus at Georgetown University, where he previously taught in the Department of Sociology and the Department of Theology and Religious Studies. Casanova’s most recent research has focused primarily on two areas: globalization and religion, and the dynamics of transnational religion, migration, and increasing ethno-religious and cultural diversity.

He will be sharing with us on the theme "The Human Responsibility to Each Other and to the Planet: the Challenges of Migration and Climate Change". Fr. Prof. James Puglisi

Father James Puglisi serves as Director of the Centro Pro Unione, a ministry of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, which is an ecumenical research and action center in Rome. He also has been appointed Post-Novitiate Director and Procurator General for a three-year term. In addition to his duties at Centro, Puglisi is professor of ecumenism, sacraments and ecclesiology at the Pontifical Atheneum, San Anselmo, Rome, the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas and the Institute of Ecumenical Studies, Venice. He has been on the editorial board of Studi Ecumenici in Verona, Italy, and a member of the Lutheran-Roman Catholic Dialogue Commission in Washington, DC.

Imam Plemon El-Amin

Imam El Amin has served for the past 24 years as the Resident Imam of the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam. He worked closely as an aide and supporter of Imam W. Deen Mohammed and his Ministry for 33 years and takes his place on the EBWRL following the latter’s death in 2008. Imam El Amin holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard University. His insightful and hands-on approach to leadership has helped develop the Atlanta Masjid into one of the largest and most progressive Muslim communities in the US. . You have the opportunity to learn with Imam Pleom El-Amin. He will be sharing with us on the theme "Muslim Perspectives on the Religious Mandate to do Good". Dr. Anantanand Rambachan

Dr. Anantanand Rambachan is Chair and Professor of Religion, Philosophy and Asian Studies at Saint Olaf College, Minnesota, USA. Prof. Rambachan is the author of several books, book-chapters and articles in scholarly journals. He is currently an advisor to the Pluralism Project (Harvard University), a member of the International Advisory Council for the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, a trustee on the Board of the Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religions and a member of the Theological Education Committee of the American Academy of Religion. The University of the West Indies recently honored Professor Rambachan with the Honorary Doctor of Laws degree.

Rabbi Micha Odenheimer

Micha Odenheimer is a rabbi, journalist and social entrepreneur. He was a close disciple of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach and in 1985 was ordained as an Orthodox Rabbi by Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, the leading authority on Jewish Law in his generation. Since moving to Israel in 1988 Odenheimer has written for Haaretz, the Washington Post, the Jerusalem Post, and other publications from Ethiopia, Somalia, Iraq, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Haiti during times of crisis and transition. He is the founder of two non-profit organizations, the Israel Association for Ethiopian Jews (now the Association of Ethiopian Jews), an advocacy organization, and Tevel b'Tzedek, which works with subsistence villages in the Global South.
