The terms Kristallnacht and “November Pogroms” are both designations for the violent acts against Jews that were committed primarily in the night of 9–10 November 1938 throughout the German Reich. Organized and initiated centrally by the Nazi leadership, the violence was carried out at local and regional levels by members of the SA and SS with a high level of autonomy.

Dialog z judaizmem jest szczególnie ważny dla nas, chrześcijan, ponieważ mamy żydowskie korzenie. Jezus urodził się i żył jako Żyd. On sam jest pierwszym gwarantem żydowskiego dziedzictwa w centrum chrześcijaństwa, a my, chrześcijanie, potrzebujemy was, drodzy bracia. Potrzebujemy judaizmu, aby lepiej zrozumieć samych siebie. Dlatego ważne jest, aby dialog żydowsko-chrześcijański zachował swój teologiczny wymiar, a jednocześnie nadal podejmował kwestie społeczne, kulturowe i polityczne.

Wspólna deklaracja w sprawie nauki o usprawiedliwieniu stanowi owoc ponad 30 lat dialogu luterańsko-katolickiego. Została ona podpisana w Augsburgu 31 października 1999 roku przez prezydenta Światowej Federacji Luterańskiej ks. bp. Chrisiana Krausego i przedstawiciela Kościoła Rzymskokatolickiego kardynała Edwarda Cassidyego. Już miejsce i termin stanowią pewien symbol. Tam w 1530 roku odbywał się sejm Rzeszy, podczas którego odczytano Konfesję Augsburską (lut.), Konfutację (kat.) i Apologię Konfesji (lut.). Natomiast 31 października 1517 roku ks. dr Marcin Luter wystąpił w Wittenberdze z 95 Tezami przeciwko nadużyciom w sprzedaży odpustów. Temat o usprawiedliwieniu z wiary od początku był przedmiotem dialogu teologów obu Kościołów.

Miesięcznik "Memoria" ma być miejscem, gdzie będziemy pisać i opowiadać o naszych wspólnych wysiłkach. O misji zachowania pamięci."

На выезде из аэропорта жители пытались проверять документы у выезжающих, чтобы убедиться, что они не израильтяне. В поисках евреев толпа обыскала даже прибывший автомобиль ОМОН. Около 9 вечера протестующие прорвались на взлётно-посадочную полосу, пытаясь зайти в прилетевший самолёт. По информации телеграм-канала "База", внутри находились 50 человек, в том числе четыре гражданина Израиля. Из-за беспорядков пассажиры пять часов просидели в самолёте.

Ale śmierć śmierci nie jest równa. Nie wiem, co wyście widzieli na ekranach 7 października. Ja byłem 7 i 8 października w Wilnie i tam na jednym z kanałów [telewizyjnych] tylko krótki czas pokazano drastyczne sceny z ataku Hamasu. Te sceny były tak drastyczne, że nie wiem, czy telewizje polskie pozwoliły sobie na to, żeby je nadawać.

Z przerażeniem obserwujemy doniesienia z Izraela, który w dzień szabatu i wielkiego święta stał się obiektem zmasowanego ataku terrorystycznego. Nie istnieje żadna polityczna racja, która usprawiedliwiałaby zbrodnie, jakich 7 października dopuścili się bojownicy Hamasu, mordując na ulicach żydowskiego państwa bezbronnych cywilów, w tym kobiety i dzieci
W niedzielę, 29 października, o godz. 13.00 pod pomnikiem Bohaterów Getta stanie stół, otoczony pustymi krzesłami, w ilości odpowiadającej liczbie żydowskich zakładników wziętych do niewoli przez terrorystów z Hamasu. Stół ten jest symbolem nadziei i oczekiwania na ich szczęśliwy powrót. Twarze tych ludzi pojawią się na fotografiach.
